Mexican food is one of the more diverse cuisines in the world. As with its people, its flavors come from a complex combination of origins, where the Mayan influences fused with the Aztec and were then overlaid with Spanish. Xitomatl (tomatoes) and xocoatl (chocolate) have their roots in this rich country, as does Cesar Salad (created in Tijuana).

Let My Mexican Kitchen introduce you to real, unadulterated Mexican food from the heart of the country. Chefs Edgar Garcia Cordova and Travis Dietz guide you through the rich smells, flavors and textures of gastronomic Mexico, with an invitation to join in and learn the secrets, or to simply enjoy the dining experience.


Delve into the Mexican culinary culture while you are here; take something home with you that won't fade away with the cold weather days -- a cooking class with us in beautiful Bucerias. Or let us worry about the cooking while you simply enjoy the rich smells and delicious flavors as we cater a dinner for you in your home or for your grand fiesta .

My Mexican Kitchen was born from a love of food -- mainly the full-bodied, spicy food that makes your toes tingle.
In December 2006, we opened our fine dining-in catering service, preparing and serving 5-course dinners to small groups in private residences. We expanded to include large group buffets early the next year. And then, with our rental of a homey Kitchen on Lazaro Cardenas Street, we expanded yet again to include a Cooking School. Our latest venture has been to "take you to the streets" on our walking Food Tours, in search of the perfect, traditional Mexican fare. What will be next????

Working Hours

Our classes run from 6 pm to approximately 9 pm. Tours run for about 3 hours as well, depending on the group. Please call or contact us for catering information or any questions you may have.
